Edd trained at London Studio Centre. He first worked with Yorke Dance Project in 2009 as a student and has been present in the company’s development since then, performing work by Martha Graham, Robert Cohan, Kenneth MacMillan and Yolande Yorke-Edgell, among others. Since 2019 Edd has also been the rehearsal director for YDP. Other professional experience includes Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake (Sadler’s Wells, UK and International tour), Cabaret (Savoy Theatre) and Pet Shop Boys/Javier de Frutos’ The Most Incredible Thing (Sadlers Wells), for which he is also associate choreographer, as well as projects with companies including Stephen Pelton Dance Theatre, Darren Ellis Dance, Lynne Page, SmallPetitKlein, The Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne and Opera de Lille. Trained in Benesh Movement Notation, Edd also works as a choreologist and re-stager, most recently staging Kenneth MacMillan’s Concerto for the Dutch National Ballet Academy.
