Anna-Maria de Freitas
Apprentice Dancer
Anna-Maria is a Trinidadian artist currently based in London. She started her training at Caribbean School of Dancing where she trained in ballet, contemporary and different forms of Afro-Caribbean dance. In her time in Trinidad, she danced with the Metamorphosis Dance Company Ltd. for eight years, performing works by Nancy Herrera, Bridgette Wilson, Frederic Jahn and Patricia Ruanne. Since then she has gone on to train at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, recently graduating this year and attaining her Bachelor of Arts-BA (Hons) degree in Ballet and Contemporary Dance.
Since moving to London, Anna-Maria has also performed work by choreographers, Darren Ellis and Alleyne Dance at the Royal Opera House and Sadler’s Wells.
